The X plore Program
The Xplore Program is a course and mentorship opportunity for the next generation of longevity enthusiasts. This program is meant to be first step for passionate individuals into the field, providing them with both educational resources and real-world opportunities to apply themselves.

Xplore
Join an online cohort of new Xplorers as you begin your journey in the longevity field. The course acts as a comprehensive primer, covering topics such as basic aging biology, drug development, the longevity sector, and so much more. Xplorers will have the opportunity to leverage the guidance of current students and instructors involved in longevity while enjoying a selection of fireside chats and workshops from industry professionals.

Who is eligible for the Xplore Program?We are gearing the program to high school and undergraduate students ages 16 - 21 but may consider other candidates outside this demographic.

Are there any prerequisites?No, but we recommend having a basic understanding of biology. We will offer additional resources if needed.

Do I need to have a technical background?No, we welcome all educational backgrounds.

How long is the program?The course takes 1 month to complete. Career Development Experiences will last for roughly 2 to 4 months, depending on the partner institution.

How much time do I need to commit per week?The course would require a commitment of 5 - 10 hours/week. The internship time commitment varies depending on the partner institution.

How much does the program cost?The Xplore Program is free!

Do I have to relocate for this program?The program in its entirety will be virtual, to allow for more flexibility and inclusion. Nonetheless, it will be a hybrid of synchronous and asynchronous instructions and interactions.

How often do the cohorts run?Once a year.

What is the criteria of selection for participants?Enthusiasm/capacity to commit is more important than anything else.
